Two things:

Our governmental election system would be improved immeasurably if campaigns were public-supported, not based on contributions. It appears to me - and many others - that campaign finance reform is more important than almost anything else in making meaningful changes in who gets nominated and who gets elected.

Changes in parking policy at the local level can make sweeping changes in how we live - for the better. I have expounded on this subject before, of course. It may be time for me to create a web page just for this.
