The testing continues

Today I swam again. Yesterday I rested. Saturday I hiked.

My hope has been that this swimming will ultimately increase muscle strength in my legs that will, to some degree, counteract the joint disintegration and make walking easier. I suspect that this is the case, that this is happening. I stiffen up if I sit for too long but it seems like the pain is less overall and I often walk without pain, any. Today I walked to the mailbox from my house, a thing I normally avoid even though it isn't all that far, because walking on the asphalt ain't so grand. I felt strong enough and painfree enough to do it. I wouldn't push it and go walking on the sidewalks around here, no, not yet. But maybe eventually.
