The other day I saw a cat ourside the dumpster when I was disposing of recyclables. The cat was orange and very thin and seemed to be squinting, and he meowed in a raspy voice at me. He didn't look well at all. I thought about trying to capture him right then but decided to wait. I saw him not far from the dumpster - near another lot - this afternoon, and again I felt the urge to grab him and get him to the vet like now. But I didn't. I'm going out of town tomorrow, will be back Friday night. If I find him Saturday he's going in. I don't think it's possible that anyone around here "owns" him.
