The music is sounding wonderful. The people sprinkled in the audience last night (there are always a few; I used to be one of them before I got into the chorale) thought the Stravinsky would be a real crowd-pleaser. I think so, too, because it is SO exciting. Seeing it performed is much much better than hearing a recording. The main problem now is balance - balance between the soloists and the four pianos and percussion primarily.  And the Mozart...heavenly. Good soloists, good orchestra, and we know it well, have refined it nicely.
