The Sims are my LIFE.

Dang. I managed to put a hold on Mary's aging so she has time to work up a romance with someone from work. I also bought her a bar, because it was one of her aspirations. I figured it would be good when she has parties, and she might get involved with someone at a party.

But now she has started drinking! She is now a full-on bank robber, and I think she feels she needs the alcohol to steel herself for the job. So far, her career has not affected her personal life, and I hope that continues, but I worry. Her drinking isn't worrisome yet but I'm watching carefully. I'd like to get her pregnant and possible retired from this career. Not sure how to do that yet. I had her look in the want ads for work and the only items that showed up were beginning positions in other fields.  Still, it seems if she took one of those jobs she would move up rapidly because she has a lot of skills now.

Now Judith has fallen in love. With Abhijeet, a younger, darker man. They haven't gotten into any heavy petting yet but I am sure it will happen. Abhijeet did get into a shouting match with some other man who was there for a party at Judith's house. Might have been about Judith. This is rather a promising turn, I think!

I think my addiction has reached levels I have never been to before.

Whenever I play Sims I get addicted. I bought the Superstar Sims last year and played it to death!

I was able to walk away from the regular sims, mainly, I think, because there was so much I was doing wrong that I became very frustrated. I am learning fast with sims2, though, and I find myself thinking of these lives while I lay in bed!

I have never been addicted to a game before.

I fell out with the regular Sims quite soon, mainly because playing them was more stressful than real life. But Sims2 - I love it. There is so much to the game other than just playing it. I've been delving into the genetics, and now I need to get some third generation Sims going to see how they pan out. I do wish I understood programing language. I did know some Basic, but that was twenty years ago, and anyway, it's all more sophisticated now. I'm glad you're still enjoying the game.

None of my creations has gotten pregnant yet! Just today, two of the women fell in love. With each other. I don't suppose there's a chance they'll be able to make each other pregnant, considering they are in Pleasantview, not Strangetown. I seem to be getting better at the relationships as I go along, though. I really want to see the babies!

In the first sims games it was all I could do to keep them from falling into some kind of stupor.

I presume they have 'woo-hooed'? No pregnancy without that. With it, works almsot every time, I've found.
If you want same sex pregnancy, it will cost you. Here's the link http://www.simtosim.com.

They haven't woo-hooed yet, but are getting close. I went to that site - thanks! I am not ready to subscribe yet... but...

I'm not subscribing to anything yet either. There's so much to discover first.

Just don't let her breed with Abhijeet. All his male kids and grandkids in my game have these horrifically large noses, just like his -- it seems to be a dominant trait.

No worry there. Judith is an elder - like me.

A full-time bank robber??

What has happened to poor Mary?? And drinking, too, huh?

Well, [scolding] don't let her drink while she's pregnant...

I'm sorry to say that Mary, having tasted the delights of of easy money, will probably not want to settle down in an ordinary job.

You may have to kill her...
