Today it occurred to me that I don't like any of my Sims. Maybe the new ones that I just met, that I didn't create, maybe them. But I thought I'd try to work with them anyway. I went to Judith's house. She's the one left after Mary and Elaine burned up. So it's been hard getting her on her feet. But she has a job now and I am gradually improving the look of her house. She moved from the red zone into the neutral today. Good sign. I left her after she got into bed, not quite up for getting her up and to work again in the morning.

The animals are everywhere! She had to call a skunk catcher in the middle of the night, and the dogs were barking at each other and cats having cat fights. I didn't see one that was particularly interested in Judith so I didn't pursue developing a relationship with one. Just about all of the other Sims have animals now, and Michael even plays with his kitty spontaneously.

I have started to take a look at their interests and am trying to find ways to help them that way. A few of them like movies, but don't have enough money to get a good television and I am not sure what else they can do. I took one of them into town the other day to look around. Maybe I'll take Judith into town and find a theater.

Obsessed? I am thinking there's some good in this. I don't do much in the way of play. Normally.

Is there a real town?

And the animals are new, too, to me.

Your poor Sims creatures--they seem to be living in hell, don't they?

If your Judith is so miserable that she's just now in the yellow zone, please consider using some cheat code money to buy her something fun--maybe a swimming pool...poor thing.

Yes, there is a real town. It is made more real now with my Unleashed expansion pack. Mainly this pack offers the animals, but it also brought along a shuttle service that takes people to gathering places in town. When I brought one of my newer sims to town she met and talked to a lot of people there. It's a good way to up the social thing. But when I call the shuttle they will only come if everyone in the household is going! So if one is at work it won't take others. I don't really get that.

A couple of the sims, I noticed, like swimming and sports. They don't have money for a pool and I couldn't find a simple barbell set for them in the stores. I may have to break down and cheat for the money.

I would also like the option of taking a sim from one house to another but that isn't available. That is, you can invite one to the house you are in, but can't take a person from that house and go to another. Maybe if I install sim city...oh no, then I'll have to deal with sewer crises.
