The death of my hard drives may change things more. I don't know how far I will go to recover the data or get the computer working. I may play with it, though. It may be true death, and nothing can be recovered and the hard drives can't be reused. I have never had that happen before, that I can recall, but with all the dust in this house I think it's plausible it happened this time.
I really need an office. A whole room devoted to office. Sharing doesn' t work that well. I see this in Clean Sweep all the time, because one of the two rooms is almost always a home office, a space that is shared with some other use. That is, I used to see it. I don't watch that program any more.
One more thing I'd like to do here, at least, today: replace my elderly VCR with the one I bought several weeks ago. I have delayed setting it up because of space, area in which to work, ways to do it. I think I have cleared enough space in front now to do it reasonably efficiently. The old VCR still works, so I may sell it on Ebay to someone who can appreciate fine quality but old stuff. That, and my Dual 8 movie projector. When will I be using that?? I keep thinking I will...
