Too much drama

So Mary got a flat tire on highway 58, in a dangerous location. She didn't have auto club, doesn't know how to change a tire. She got signed up with the auto club and they offered a "courtesy tow", said they don't provide service on the day you sign up - yet they did offer service to Elaine when she did that.

I took the kitty to the vet. He has an upper respiratory infection, including a secondary bacterial infection, but otherwise seems very healthy. He was tested for feline leukemia and fiv and dewormed, and I brought him home with antibiotics. It will likely take three weeks to get him well again, or more, and during that time I don't want to expose him to my other cats. I don't want to keep him in the shower for three weeks. I really don't know how I am going to handle this. I may move the litter box and give him the run of my bedroom and not let my regular guys in. They'll hate that.

My headache has not gone away. I'm headed to the bank to cover Mary's payment of the auto club membership, then to work if I can manage it.

Fortunately, Elaine is home safe. One less thing to worry about.
