evil

It's easy to call others "evil" and so not be associated with them. Call Saddam Hussein evil, call bin Laden evil, call the sniper evil, and you are safe from any relationship to them. Better yet, call them "pure evil". Don't try to understand their motives or point of view because you might find that you can identify, if even in a small way, and you may realize that they are human too, that you aren't so far from them, you aren't so different.
