I went into a coffee place today for a latte and asked if I could leave some concert flyers there. The young woman said sure, and looked at them and started asking me questions. Turns out she plays the cello. She said it had been a long time since she had gone to anything like this and she really wants to. Another woman came in and the three of us got to talking about the effect of music like this, how it sends shivers through you, and she too wants to go. It is remarkable how we find people where we least expect it. I am alone too much of the time, make assumptions that I shouldn't.
