headache

It came on in the night, big one. I took some tylenol this morning. Maybe a shower will help. This is a bad patch. I've been worrying about things that are not even worth worrying about, and that isn't helping.

The headache is receding. I went to a pharmacy that isn't associated with any of the groceries that are on strike and bought some Excedrin migraine (generic version) and took that, on top of the Tylenol this morning. I have had some queasiness but I expect it will pass and I'll be out and free.

My blog is SO not hot

My rating is down to a 2.3 now.

I can't see people being interested in my ramblings about teeth, headaches, doing errands. I also don't apologize for that. My journal is for me, not for them. So it earned that rating!

However, I visited others' blogs and rated them low! I wanted to see good use of the language, thoughtful posts, and I didn't. So there.

going online in Starbucks

One thing I notice about hanging in Starbucks, using my computer, is that I have to find the right place in the store. Glare from windows tends to make it hard to read the screen. Maybe I can just get a screen cover of sorts to help.

Frustration. What was I feeling frustrated about? Oh yes, web stuff. It is hard staying on top of it and hard to collaborate in some cases. While I am here, I believe I will work a bit on a web page, actually.

The headache finally did go away, not without a lot of complaint. I feel pretty good now. I went to see City of God at the Palm Theatre. Amazing film in a lot of ways. Shocking, graphic, ,but interestingly crafted, thoughtful...the most violent film I believe I have ever seen.

I continue to be frustrated by the movie making business. I am going to buy Elaine's video camera from her, which will allow me to have an easier time of it in the future, but right now I am unable to capture the analog video either with the Windows movie maker or with Pinnacle's program. The tech guy at Pinnacle finally said to try it on another computer. Forget that. That's just nuts. I've gone through enough contortions already.

Perhaps I will go ahead and make VHS copies of this tape so I can at least get them to the actors. A pain but it's what I signed up for and I haven't performed.
