Las Vegas

I'm comfortably settled into Mary's new apartment, slept on her designer couch (I should say "model home" couch).

I'm really sleepy, hope I can get more sleep before the boy wakes. My eyes are dead. Long but easy drive yesterday, time with Mary, time with Elaine, talk later, so tired now.

Today the Children's Museum. Maybe some other stuff.

The Boy

Last night Elaine and I took the Joe-boy out to dinner. On the way, Joey asked where we were going. We said "The Spaghetti Factory".

"Spaghetti factory? I know about that," he said. "They make the spaghetti, then they put it into bags and they put stickers on it. and then they sell it in a store!"

Elaine looked at him in amazement. "Where did you learn about that?" she asked.

"I know all about factories," he said.

"How? Where did you learn that?"

"I'm already four!" he said impatiently, "I know everything!"

Classic. Worth the trip.
