Roman

more on Burroughs

I am not very far into the biography, but I am getting the impression that Burroughs was original, had a sense of humor, yet extremely self-centered. Not given to thinking about others at all. I thought, for a bit, about psychopathy, decided he was NOT a psychopath for a lot of reasons, most notably that he probably never tried to manipulate anyone. Had more of a penchant for honesty, for being direct, not hiding anything.

He became interested in guns, death, drugs, and sex at an early age. It seems like a lot of his views on life were formed early and did not change. Did I already say this in a previous post? No matter. It interests me.
