(no subject)

I knew I'd be sleepy today. I had a latte downtown at lunch, with real coffee, then followed that with a machine cappuccino, also real coffee, caffeine. I feel too full now, mainly because of that lame cap, really not good stuff. I'll be glad to get out of here and on home. But I have been trying to make an appointment for my hair and have been unsuccessful. I may stop by the salon and see if I can do it in person. If not, maybe I'll tear myself away and try someone else somewhere else.

I looked at the hummingbird feeder this afternoon when I got home from work, and saw that the level of sugar water had decreased noticeably. The birds must be getting to it, mostly when I am not around. But then I looked at it a bit more closely. Ants. A nice trail from the ground to the window where the feeder hangs. I took it down, brought it inside, washed it thoroughly with hot water, got the ants out of it. But I can't put it back where it was. I am stumped for now. Not wanting to use lethal ant poison.
