confidence

I am working on the foundation newsletter, making sense of it, pulling together pieces, and liking what I see. I am realizing that I am as good as many on this kind of thing and do not have any business apologizing for my work. Just because I don't do graphic design for a living doesn't mean I am no good at it.

Dependability

I bought a new clothes washer about a year ago. My first new one, a Maytag. I bought Maytag because I have had used ones before and love the way they cleaned and wrung the clothes out and I believe the manufacturer's slogan. Maytag calls itself "the dependability people". So. My warranty runs out soon. I have gotten papers in the mail offering extended protection from Maytag (at a price, of course). And I am asking myself, if Maytag is the dependability people, do I really need this extra protection for an almost-new washer? What are the chances that I will need to call a repairman in the next year, two years, three years? I have been looking at that piece of paper and wondering and I haven't been able to decide.

So many weights, so little time

Tracie Long tonight for the first time in several days, don't know quite how long. It is hard to compare this workout with the bodypump ones. I think they both have pluses and minuses. The abs work in the FIRM videos seems better than what we do in bodypump. The workout goes more quickly, too, I really work up a sweat with this one. I feel a bit better about eating all that trail mix now...
