201 pounds. I'll take it.
Kathy Smith. Felt good today. I am getting into that groove now. The difference: I can almost memorize the steps and that means I can do it almost mindlessly. Which is different than the FIRM workouts. I like both approaches. They both have a way of getting through the time, with moments I actually enjoy, and afterwards, of course, I feel GOOD.
I got my sewing maching out and got started on adjusting my Dorothy dress. It's not too bad right now, I could live with it, but I am trying to make it fit more nicely. Not so easy for someone who doesn't sew so good. There is a comfort in it, though. I wish I were more interested in sewing, could get past the frustrations and the mess and do more, stay interested.
A while back, Elaine told me about her conversion to beets. She said she didn't particularly like beets, didn't eat them. Then one day she saw a bumper sticker that said, "I love beets". She looked at that and thought, "I can do that. I can love beets". She started eating them and now she likes them. I love this story. It's about so much more than beets.
