Still lagging

I woke up feeling vaguely headachey. I didn't want to write in here, even though I like tracking these headaches, trying to see if there is any kind of pattern. I feel a bit better now. I picked up the pronunciation tape from Dorothy, talked to her a bit, had a latte at Uptown Espresso - lots of people, nobody I knew - came home. I put dishes in the dishwasher, then found some filters for my "new" coffee maker.

This is the coffee maker I found in a yard sale in Las Vegas. It has been serving me well, but it won't take my permanent filter. Fortunately, I had some left-over paper filters that fit. But now I have to wait until the dishes are done to make coffee. I have cut down on drinking coffee, quite a bit. That's a good thing.

I also tried to get through to Kaweah Park Resort to make reservations for Thanksgiving. I keep getting the answering machine and I don't want to leave a message. I will try again later. I am hoping I can find a good price, preferably for a cabin rather than a camp site. We'll see. A room with walls and beds sounds good, and I think there may be kitchens but I don't remember. It has been many years since we used those cabins. Kitchens would be great! I could cook my little heart out and bring it to the domes to eat. I need to know what I can get before I run out and buy camping equipment. If we end up with a camp site I can get a cute little two-burner propane stove at Wal-Mart that should serve us well for what we want. Coffee, cereal, a little this and that.
