I just looked at the message boards on Bravo's Top Chef site and they stink. There is a lot of chatter about everything but the chefs, and when they finally get around to talking about the chefs I am no longer listening. So I'll say it here:

Jamie should have stayed! Leah should have gone! I don't know what I am going to do with myself for the rest of the season!

I guess I'll get behind Carla, even though it seems clear that Stefan is going to win. Carla has annoyed me at times with her overabundance of eyes and hoots, but she seems to be a good sort. I really like Jamie. I like her attention to detail, her solidity, her fundamental thoughtfulness and care.

It is of course unfortunate that chefs are in the dark ages when it comes to animals - veal stock, anyone?? Maybe one day...
