bookcrossing surprise

Today I got a notice that someone had made an entry in bookcrossing about a book that I left in a local coffee place about a year and a half ago. This person found it where I left it and just now finished reading it. She seemed to like it as much as I did (It is a book by Josephine Tey, a remarkable mystery writer).

This is one of the things I hoped would happen. That out of the blue a book I thought was gone forever comes back to life somewhere else.
