We installed a light fixture in Paul's room (no pic). We then made two trips to the storage buildings and brought back bunches of boxes plus the two desks and dining room table. The table above was moved into Paul's room and replaced by a "Danish modern" dining table with two leaves that used to belong to my father. It needs some refinishing, minor, and maybe some tightening but it's a good table (pix later). One of the desks belongs to Elaine but she does not have room for it now so I am using it in the dining room (again, pix later). It is a desk on the lower part and has shelves with glass doors above, so it seems appropriate for dining stuff. It needs repair. I am looking for someone who can repair it. Then it will contain placemats and other dining stuff and pretty things on the shelves - I don't know what yet.
The other desk was my father's also, and is a drop-down type desk with drawers below and cubbyholes above, quite neat and doesn't need much repair. My computer is sitting on it right now.
With these things I am starting to feel, in spite of all the boxes, like it is becoming a home. It feels good.
