landscape guy, eyes, cat

A landscape guy came by today to look at the lot and the plan. I don't think he spends a lot of time looking at landscape plans but it seemed like he could get the hang of it. His truck looked official and licensed and he's done other work in the park. He said he could get me an estimate of the work in about a week, which seemed fine to me.

Now I'm going to costco to see about getting my eyes examined. Time for new glasses. Well past time, actually. I'm thinking I'll go for a straightforward cheap pair first, then when those come in I'll get my current frames filled with new lenses. These frames are excellent and cost a lot so there is no reason I know to stop using them.

I caught Bullet, the wayward cat, a little while ago, and managed to bring him inside. He has been outside so long there are thick matts of fur on his underside. I don't see that getting fixed by anything except shaving. I put him in my room with food, water, litter box, and want to keep him imprisoned. When he's a little calmer, maybe a day or so, I want to bring him to a groomer to take care of that fur. He is too old to be spending all his days outside, and it clearly has not been good for him.
