One thing that interests me about the Sims is that there are endless opportunities for creativity. I often think about creating a sim or a sim house or a commercial lot or a graveyard and get excited about it, can't wait to try it out. Or I think about a different way to "run a sim", like my free-will houses and near-free-will houses. Sometimes I want to "go bad". Create all the conflicts I can, make my sims miserable, deny them everything they want.

Another way to be creative is with "cheats". I don't use these much, usually only to fix something that went bad because of a glitch in the game, but others do, and one idea expands on another and another until there seems to be no end in sight. There are also building cheats - ways to create split-level buildings, ways to place objects at angles and so on. I have used these on occasion but tend to find them more trouble than they're worth, for my purposes.
