I went on a little hike today, in the hope that I'd get to feeling more energetic after. I didn't. I took a nap instead. But on the hike I met a woman who is taking some kind of geology class who is retired from the post office and looking into teaching. She had a little GPS machine that she was learning how to use,  and showed me the elevation where we were. That's too cool. She asked me to take a picture of her with her disposable camera, which I did, and we talked of the area. She said there are little red-tailed foxes that live in the area, and there are a couple of babies right now. I asked her when one might see them and she said early morning or at dusk. I should schedule my next hike there at one of those times.
