I hit my day's goal of words at a little after two today. So did I write more, just to get a leg up? No.

Hurray for you!!!!
Yeah, Judith!

I feel so badly as this has been the worst Murphy month ever. 5,000+ on book two. I am sure if I could figure it out book one would add to the count quite a bit but It is nearly impossible to figure how much I really have written this month. But it I stay with the 5,000+ I would have to manage about 9,000 a day between now and the 30th. I really don't think I can do that with company here already for Thanksgiving. Plumbing, broken computers and my own constant sinus headaches that make looking at the moniter hurt have been the theme of the month for me.

But I am happy you are able to do so well!!! :)

Re: Hurray for you!!!!
I know what you mean, believe me. I do have more time than most people I know, but I hvae been on trips this month and am going on another this week, and these times do cut deeply into my ability to write. Yet I've seen some others who have written their whole 50,000 words in a matter of a few days! I simply don't think I've got that in me. I can't seem to sustain enough of a plot to do it, frankly.

Anyway, I figure I have to get between 3,000 and 4,000 words a day in from here on, and even then I will lose a day here and there...I am trying to stay committed, determined. Really trying. But at the same time I am talking myself through the possible "failure". If I do not make it this month, I will know that I wrote more than I did a year ago! That's something.

Do you have a good plot that can carry you along? I don't know what it is but I don't seem to come up with those!
