Well, in an hour I go to the airport. The plane leaves at 9:10 for Las Vegas. I will have my little sims with me...I suspect I will break them out on the plane tomorrow, to New York. Long ride, that one.

We are pretty well set. My suitcase is overpacked but probably has the wrong things in it. I have the plane, hotel, harbor cruise, all reserved, and we have tentative plans for museum visits.

Tonight I stay at Mary's place. As usual, I bought something for Joey...I am a grandmother, after all! It's my right.

I am hoping I'll be able to introduce them to their true selves on the plane and maybe they'll learn from them. That is, I want Mary and Elaine to meet Mary and Elaine.

Yesterday Mary slipped below "friend" status with Leo, and it practically had me panicked! But I got her back in his good graces. Having Leo see Greg kiss her really threw a wrench in my plans! Trouble is, Mary loves Leo, Benjamin, and Greg. Damn. The other day she brought Benj home from work and I had her playing the piano to earn creativity points (she's a hell of a pianist!). Then when she went out to join Ben at the pool she tried to jump into his arms and he stepped back and she fell on the ground. After she got up I was so pissed I had her tell him goodby.

That Ben is no good for her. I've also been trying to work the Greg-Elaine connection. Greg's wants show that he wants to be engaged to both Mary and Elaine! He calls Mary so I try to keep them apart.

Mary's going to get a kick out of this. The real Mary, that is. But you're right - those sims had better behave themselves.
